Description
The Hot Club Of Cowtown are the greatest thing to happen to western swing since Bob Wills picked up a fiddle. They combine the western swing of Bob Wills with the hot jazz of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli into something downright combustible. "Dev'lish Mary" is the third release from Austin, Texas based Hot Club Of Cowtown, and it's yet another stellar mix of western swing, hot jazz, fiddle tunes and Tin Pan Alley standards. Produced by Lloyd Maines and with a new bass player Matt Weiner, the band have a more melodic feel to their sound without sacrificing their punchy rhythms. -
