Description
Marek Szlezer, who is well known to the Polish audience, is highly appreciated for his interpretations of Fryderyk Chopin's works. The pianist from Cracow expands his discography with another album with piano works by Karol Szymanowski. The nearly 80-minute CD covers pieces written over ten years (1924–1934), although belonging to different periods in Szymanowski's output.
In 2015, on the occasion of the composer's 205th birthday, Szlezer performed at the famous Carnegie Hall in New York. On a number of occasions, he has also been nominated for the most important music award in Poland, Fryderyk.
