This album presents recordings of the complete works for solo piano by the composer, pianist and musicologist Marian Borkowski. These works were composed between 1955-1977 and belong to the early period of Borkowski's work.

In a brilliant performanceby Marek Szlezer, known for many excellent interpretations of contemporary and romantic music, the complete collection of Borkowski's piano works confirms the composer's original contribution to the pianistic art of the 20th century.
