Elliot Galvin is a unique and visionary artist; a supremely talented pianist, improvisor and composer. As a key member of Mercury Music Prize-nominated band Dinosaur, and in the free jazz duo with saxophonist Binker Golding, it is his trio that has been his main focus, with The Influencing Machine being (2018) named in both Downbeat's and Jazzwise's best of 2018 list. and his last album, the brilliant Modern Times (2019) was featured as a BBC 6 Music Album of the Day.
Recorded live in concert at Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris in April 2018, this album distills Elliot's vision into its purest form, demonstrating once again that he is one of the most exciting contemporary pianists alive today.
