A lost gem from 1973 by one of the most influential voices of the English folk revival, this was Anne Briggs' third album and as it turned out her last (unless she decides to make an unlikely return to the scene in her sixties!)
A mix of original and traditional material with subtle electric backing from Steve Ashley's Ragged Robin, this was and is noticably different to her other two albums, the only time she recorded with a band. This reissue comes complete with lots of sleeve notes and previously unpublished photos.
