It's a rather apt comparison, as Thurston Moore himself has shared his admiration for the band (which he discovered via his daughter). In an interview with NME, Moore described the band's sound as "sorta post-Riot grrrl, post-No Wave, experimental music and completely engaging from beginning to end." Two years after forming, Rome Is Not A Town released their EP "Careful Like You Cared." Their debut album "It's A Dare" was released via Startracks and summed up the band's noisy and experimental style brilliantly. The band toured not only by themselves, but also as support for Refused, Thurston Moore and The Hellacopters, among others.
