Description
This is the second album from Gwent based five piece band Allan Yn Y Fan. Drawing on some of Wales' finest traditional tunes the album also features a high percentage of self-composed tracks. Allan Yn Y Fan proves with this selection that Wales should no longer be viewed as the poor relation of the Celtic music scene.
The album shows great tonal range from the vast array of instruments that the band has at its command - from delicate airs to full on reels, jigs and polcas - all these tune sets show the band's great connection to their place and people - they're belonging, you see. -
