The Oslo band Three Souls release their debut album, which has been titled Mr. Temptation, named after the biggest temptation of them all - the music.
Three Souls is as rare as a young eight-man funk band from Oslo that delivers energetic and groovy concerts and songs. With lyrics from their own time and musical roots that stick deep into the old treasure chest with timeless Soul and Jazz, plus an eminent brass band and charismatic front man, it's easy to understand how this band sold out concerts and charming live audiences for a long time.
Anderson Paak, Hiatus Kaiyote, and D'Angelo are highlighted by the band themselves as sources of inspiration, in addition to obvious nods to greats such as James Brown and Parliament /Funkadelic.
For almost six years, the versatile band Three Souls has sold out concert venues around Oslo with groovy songs and infectious stage shows. The funk-inspired band thrives best in front of a packed hall and is used to delivering a musical experience the audience will soon forget.
