Description
Seyed Sina Sadeghpour combines Persian folk music, classical Persian music and European contemporary music to create a very unique musical language. Being touched by the situation of female musicians in Iran a large part of his work is committed to the solo soprano. Inspired by contemporary and ancient Persian poetry, S. Sina Sadeghpour creates a bridge between times, cultures and traditions thus contributing a new perspective of our present time.
Seyed Sina Sadeghpour was born in 1977 in Tehran (Iran). After starting his musical education at the Tehran Conservatory playing the clarinet, he studied music at the Azad University, taking courses with Alireza Mashayekhi and Farhad Fakhraldini. He completed his instrumental studies at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK) under the direction of Sven van der Kuip.
