RinneRadio is Finland's pioneering electronica and nu-jazz band. StaRRk is the first RinneRadio album in more than three years. Meanwhile the band has worked in cross-cultural projects and modern circus. Band leader Tapani Rinne also produced and played on Wimme's Mun, which was a World Music Charts Europe Top 10 album of 2010, and released another Slowhill album together with DJ Slow.

In 2011 DJ Muffler joined RinneRadio, and he has added some hard beats and industrial elements to the usual ambient and melodic soundscapes of the band. RinneRadio has previously played at London Jazz Festival and has supported Herbie Hancock at the Barbican. In November 2012 RinneRadio performed successfully at the LIFEM Festival at London's King's Place.
