In 1978,Shivaun O'Casey, daughter of the celebrated Irish playwright Sean O' Casey, approached Paul Brady with a project to record an album of songs from her father's plays in the capacity of musical director, arranger and in some cases, composer where the music didn't exist. The album was out of print for many years before being re-released here by Paul.
