New Sun's debut record is called Hanged's Fate, released through Wormholedeath Records. It is not a collection of songs - it is a journey through the human condition. An investigation into what remains when the illusion of control collapses, into what pulls us under and what brings us back to our feet. The sound moves between the percussive aggression of Death Groove and the melancholy of Black Metal, constructing a sonic architecture that offers no way out. The track that best captures the soul of the record is "Drag Me Down": from the ocean as a metaphor for the inner abyss - "I come from the ocean / where silence betrays me" - to the liberating release of the chorus - "I break these chains / I'm free / I'm born again" - the track covers the album's entire narrative arc in a matter of minutes.
