Description
Marcus Foster's latest offering comes in the form of the six-track mini album, "The Last House". Southwest London singer-songwriter Foster's work is a desire, not only to avoid the comfort zone of recreating old sounds, but to challenge himself in such a way that he can produce music and stories that, whilst in debt to the past chanelleing his heroes Van Morrison, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Bob Dylan, D´Angelo, Tom Waits, Prince, Otis Reading and more recently St. Vincent, have been yet unheard.
Following his first EP Tumble Down, Foster released his critically acclaimed debut album, titled Nameless Path on Communion/Polydor/Geffen, which was produced by Ian Grimble (Communion). His music has a timeless quality which, once appreciated, remains in the mind. Marcus Foster returns with this stunning six track mini-album having signed to the newly minted Big Ship label.
