12" Coloured 'eco-mix' Vinyl. Kidd Dynamo were a band based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. They formed just south of the city, in Carryduff in 1999 with Colin Campbell at the helm. Their star burned brightly - and quickly - with just two 7" singles captivating those lucky enough to hear or see them live.With full band there were shows with Supergrass, Preston School of Industry and others, or if the stage and setting demanded, Colin would play solo with the likes of Joan Armatrading, The Reindeer Section, Hammell on Trial or The Webb Brothers.NME and Hotpress wrote kind things, and BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Ulster and others played the songs. I Am A Landslide And Other Stories is a collection of six tracks, put together for the first time. Some have never been heard before, some have only been heard live and some featured on the aforementioned singles.It's a wonderful reminder of the alternative indie magic that sprang from south Belfast in the early part of the 2000's. Music that is still thought of so fondly by fans of the band. We hope you enjoy it.
