Description
Between Spooky Tooth and Matthews Southern Comfort, Andrew Leigh recorded a solo album that moves from pastoral folk and country-rock to Mellotron haze, electric sitar and the nine-minute "Up The U.S.A." First released in 1970, Magician features Kevin Westlake, Reggie King, Gary Farr, Gordon Jackson, Mike Kellie and Gary Wright among its guests. Newly remastered by Prof. Stoned, this edition includes the complete album and the session outtake "The Passing," previously issued in 2011. The illustrated 12-page booklet features Leigh's own account, photographs and period ephemera.
