From this encounter springs a new awareness of its cultural identity: the "language" of Comacchio finds in these songs - historically performed by the choir without instrumental accompaniment - a wider frontier, where rhythms and musical arrangements belonging to other areas of the peninsula converge on the Po delta, in an original and meaningful cogency.
The accompanying DVD tells the experience of rehearsals and recordings and shows some splendid images of the Comacchiesi valleys visually commenting on one of the most famous nursery rhymes of the traditional lagoon repertoire.
