Maggie Boyle is a traditional singer. Through her ballads, old and new, she continues the tradition of music and storytelling passed on by her Irish family but this time with many songs of English origin. She has worked with many well known groups in the past but most recently Grace Notes. This long awaited solo album is the first for some time and is accompanied by Paul Downes on guitar and Maggie on flute with supporting performances by Jon Boden - fiddle; Dave McKeown - woodwind; Steve Tilston - arpeggione; Dave Wood - Slide Guitar.
