For the sessions at Andersens Greaseland studio in San José, California. they brought together an all-star collection of West Coast musicians and singers to back Prices vocals. Price, who won a 2016 Blues Music Award (Best Soul-Blues Album) for THIS TIME FOR REAL, his collaboration with the late Otis Clay, considers RECKONING to be the strongest work of his career. Scheduled for a June 15, 2018 release through VizzTone Label Group, RECKONING features Price originals along with songs previously recorded by such artists as Bobby Bland, Otis Redding, J.J. Cale, and Swamp Dogg. -
