Description
Afsky's 2023 album. Eight years ago, Ole Luk and his main band Solbrud won the prestigious Gaffa Prize for Metal Album of the Year and received a nomination for the equally prestigious Nordic Music Prize. Subsequently, the creative musician released a debut album with his newly formed solo project Afsky, which immediately established itself in the international black metal scene. 'Sorg' and 'Ofte Jeg Drommer Mig Dod' have been repressed multiple times and even charted in Denmark. "Om Hundrede Ar" (In a Hundred Years) is a true masterpiece of the genre, a multifaceted work whose intensity fluctuates even within individual songs, making it far more dynamic than many of its contemporaries. Nevertheless, it remains a distinctly depressive black metal album, characterized by a cold atmosphere and profound hopelessness.
