Description
This 67-minute, 10-track CD is comprised of of portions of six different live and studio sessions recorded between 1966 and 1982. The repertoire consists of some of Bent Jaedig's favourite tunes and composers, including compositions by Rodgers & Hart, The Gershwin Brothers, Duke Ellington, Ahmad Jamal and Jimmy Heath, among others - a great diversity of genres, yet all performed in Jaedig's unmistakeable be-bop style. Bent Jaedig is Denmark's "original be-bopper", the first Danish jazz musician to completely embrace this style of jazz (in the early '50s) and is still going strong, here supported by some Europe's finest jazz musicians.
