Jazz and blues pianist/vocalist/composer Mose Allison has been described as "one of the finest songwriters of 20th century blues."
Countless rockers including The Who, The Clash, Elvis Costello, John Mayall, Bonnie Raitt, Van Morrison, Leon Russell and many others have covered his songs.
This rare performance was recorded on March 26, 1978 at the Showboat Lounge in Silver Springs, Maryland as a trio with bassist Tom Rutley and drummer Jerry Granelli. Also available on vinyl for Record Store Day Black Friday.
