    Celebrating the 500th anniversary of the death of the great Franco-Flemish composer Pierre de la Rue (c. 1460-1518), the talented early music vocal ensemble The Sound and the Fury, has recorded a selection of the composer's artistic masses for the label FRA BERNARDO.

    Featuring countertenor Alessandro Carmignani, accompanied by tenors John Potter, Christian Wegmann and basses Christian M. Schmidt and Wilhelm Schwinghammer, this ensemble have cleverly recreated the high standard of music performed at the court of the music-loving and music-savvy Margaret of Austria.
