Description
Ellie Harris is a London-based vocalist and songwriter whose genre-blurring sound seamlessly blends jazzy soul with heartfelt lyricism, raw organic instrumentation and intricate electronic textures. Inspired by artists such as Hiatus Kaiyote and Esperanza Spalding, she crafts deeply emotive music that feels both intimate and forward-thinking.
A graduate of the prestigious BRIT School, Ellie has quickly established herself as one of the UK's most exciting emerging voices. Her music has received support from Jazz FM, BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1Xtra and more, while her captivating live performances have taken her to renowned venues including Ronnie Scott's, Omeara and PizzaExpress Live alongside her exceptional four-piece band.
In 2025, Ellie was named the Emerging Artist winner at Cross The Tracks Festival, sharing the stage with artists including The Free Nationals and Bashy. Building on that momentum, she returned with the release of "Hello Hi," - released her as her debut vinyl outing on Heavy Jazz Records, backed with latest composition "Ashes To Ashes" - further showcasing her signature blend of soulful vulnerability, jazz-influenced musicianship and contemporary production. Whether on record or on stage, Ellie continues to carve out a distinctive space in the UK's modern jazz and soul landscape, captivating audiences with music that feels both timeless and unmistakably her own.
