The interplay is phenomenal and his trademark swinging style is as sharp as ever. In Hal Leonard's 2005 book 'The Greatest Jazz Piano Players of All Time', Monty Alexander was listed among the top five. Monty has played with some of the great names in jazz, including Milt Jackson, Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Brown and Oscar Peterson, and has recorded regularly for labels such as MPS, Concord and Telarc.
