    Jackie Wilson was one of the biggest and most influential black R&B performers of the Rock and Roll era and was considered a major influence on the growth of soul music in the '60s.

    This 25 track selection spans his work chronologically from 1953 – 1958 and includes 8 titles recorded as lead singer of Billy Ward's Dominos with many tracks composed by Motown's Berry Gordy. Includes the hits: "To be Loved", "You Better Know It", "Lonely Teardrops", "That's Why I Love You So" and "Reet Petite" which was a No. 1 hit in 1986 thanks to a TV commercial.
