M.E.A.N. – Helden aus einer fernen Zeit
This is the first album of M.E.A.N., our debut so to speak. We worked hard on it. It took us almost a year to finish it, but now we´re done and we proudly present:
"Helden aus einer fernen Zeit"
… which means more or less "heroes from the past". We have songs about heroes (of course!), but some are just inspired by them. M.E.A.N. are Martin Auer on the trumpet and Werner Neumann on guitar (both wrote the tunes), Gaga Ehlert on the drums and Jacob Müller on bass-guitar. We all met in Leipzig, a funky and groovy town, kind of close to Berlin. Some say it´s the better Berlin. However, we think our music is a mixture of Jazz, Punk, Rock, Ska and German Brass stuff. But whatever it is, we put a lot of love and energy into it. Enjoy and tell your friends! (or hate it and shut up!)
