Following the release of their critically acclaimed sophomore album 'Managed Decline' [released in 2023 via Church Road Records], Underdark had the privilege of performing with artists, Ghost Bath, Svalbard and Burner alongside festival appearances at ArcTanGent in 2024 & 2025, Damnation Festival, Culthe Festival in Germany and concluded the year with a sold out show at the Black Heart in London performing "Managed Decline" in its entirety.
With Managed Decline, Underdark continued to push the boundaries of their genre, delivering a deeply immersive and thought-provoking experience, showcasing their growth as musicians and their dedication to crafting music that resonates on a profound level, driven by a narrative around the collapse of post-industrial Britain.
'O Come Forth Annihilation' finds the band deepening their dialogue with that album's themes, while shifting focus from historical decay to the crises of the present moment. The album fixes a disdainful and wary gaze on the perpetual now: the suffocating atmosphere of a world tightening ever more around the necks of its inhabitants, haunted by a future that failed to materialise.
