Rooted in classic black metal, Aschen develops a sound of its own that naturally crosses different styles. Its music is distinguished by the dynamism of its compositions: constant rhythm changes, devastating riffs, melodic passages and bursts of blast beats that evoke a wide spectrum of intense and deep emotions. Lyrically, Aschen sings mainly in English, but also in Basque - our ancestral mother tongue. Steering away from traditional themes like satanism or paganism, our lyrics delve into humanity's inability to understand and confront its own inner conflicts, and how this downfall echoes through a decaying society and a suffering natural world. The cover, referring to the endless search, depicts a labyrinth in an infinite space, whose streets are shaped like fingerprints. Macrocosm and Microcosm, the search within oneself to find the meaning of life and the order of the universe.
