  • Description

Legendary Kraan concert recording from their early days - recorded on 13th of July 1975 at Goethe Freilichtbuhne, Porta Westfalica, Germany. Since the 1970s, Kraan have been one of the pioneers of the fusion-rock genre. After the release of the extremely successful album "Kraan / Live", keyboard player Ingo Bischof (previously with "Karthago") joined the band in 1975. "Porta Westfalica 1975" was one of the first appearances after the line-up change. The magic of this new beginning can be felt in every song and provides Kraan classics with a new complexity and a joy, energy, creativity and freshness. Studio album "Let It Out" was released shortly afterwards with exactly this Porta Westfalica line-up: Hellmut Hattler, Peter Wolbrandt, Jan Fride, Ingo Bischof and Alto Papert. In addition to well-known titles such as "Holiday am Marterhorn", "Andy Nogger - Gutter King", "Kraan Arabia" and other Kraan classics in a form that have never been heard before or since, the recording includes previously unreleased live titles such as "Luftpost" and " Prima Klima". A musical journey that perfectly reflects Kraan's unique vision; this concert recording is an absolute must for Kraan fans.
