For this release, Wynonna eloquently delivers soulful, contemporary renditions of her favourite traditional Christmas songs. She has also reunited with the powerhouse production team of Brent Maher, the producer responsible for the mega-hits and Grammys awarded to The Judds, and Don Potter, musical arranger and signature guitarist for many of The Judds and Wynonna's solo projects.
Included on this timeless Christmas album are classic staples such as "White Christmas" and "Winter Wonderland", also Wynonna's children join her for the first time ever, singing on "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."
"I take great comfort in tradition, and I have always loved the season of Christmas," Wynonna says of her newest release. "What the spirit of Christmas means to me is faith, family and fellowship. This record reminds me of everything that I loved as a kid and continue to love about the timeless, classic music of the most wonderful time of the year."
Wynonna will be performing at this year's Nobel Peace Prize Concert on December 10th in Oslo, Norway. She will perform "Ave Maria" and one other song with their 60+ piece international symphony. This will be televised and will air in over 100 different countries. -
