    This CD takes it name from an old Tempo Ep of Tubby's, on which he plays all the instruments except bass and drums. All the numbers from that disc -an interesting diversion, and a testament to the man's versalatility - are present and correct, but the majority of the tracks come from Tubby's Groove, his last album for Decca's jazz offshoot Tempo and his first since the break-up of the Jazz Couriers. Indeed, the line-up is that of the final incarnation of the Couriers minus Ronnie Scott. This CD is as good an example of British hard bop circa 1959 as you'll find.
