Trevor's Candyrat Records debut album "Entelechy" explores new possibilities for the guitar through the use of a custom chromatic kalimba (African finger piano) that Trevor designed with help from various builders.
The kalimba mounts on the surface of the guitar, allowing the steel tines and steel strings to resonate through the guitar body.
The album focuses on solid melodic ideas, interspersed with the harmonies and rhythms of the kalimba, bringing a fresh sound to the acoustic guitar.
