A mix of new originals and new recordings of his early compositions make up this record.
The title track "Upright & Locked Position" is a sunny day tune with some unexpected changes that really pulls you in.
The harmonic strumming reminds me of RockBarra, which has always been a favorite of mine.
"Stop Driving, and Start Playing" is a sleepy tune that made me think of the wait before something good happens.
"Voyageur" is a tune that has a great sense of discovery to it, parts of the composition seem improvised as to express the excitement of the unknown.
So many people don't know the joy of taking time out to listen to music, but i can assure you if you do with these recordings, you will be rewarded. -
