Description
Presenting four original The Kingston Trio albums, plus bonus tracks. This excursion into The Trio's back catalogue is built around their three 1962 LPs, "College Concert" (rated by most KT fans as their finest Live album), "Something Special" (which was orchestrated, introducing strings, brass and a choir to their sound) and "New Frontier" (which featured the million-selling 45, 'Greenback Dollar').
To these we have added the "Make Way" LP from the previous year, which had been omitted from earlier Jasmine compilations, plus selected tracks from their rare 1960 Seasonal album, "The Last Month Of The Year", which had also thus far avoided Jasmine's reissue programme.
1962 was the year in which The Trio's revised line-up, featuring singer/songwriter newcomer John Stewart - he'd replaced founder member Dave Guard late the previous year - fully established themselves.
