Grainger's ingenious variation, textures and moods can be heard throughout, ranging from the fantastically popular Country Gardens to the elaborate fantasy on Porgy and Bess.Caroline Weichert was a prize-winner at the Busoni, German Chopin and Schubert competitions. She appears regularly with orchestras and in chamber work recitals, championing lesser known repertoire.Showing a particular interest in contemporary music, Clemens Rave has given a number of première performances including works by Lachenmann, Denisov, Kondo and Lombardi.
