You can't do without a band - 30 years of Subterfuge. 30 years of indie pop from D?sseldorf. After thousands of lived stories and growing up together - with each other, next to each other and for each other - the new album Dots. is now released. Dots. is nothing less than a biography. Not only SUBTERFUGE's, but ours as well. A lively and ever-changing harmony song about life as it is: warm and full of impact, surprising, dissonant, in love and gladly brittle. College rock, with kids in the passenger:inside seat.

Metropolitan country, subpop in perfection - often 60's, gladly psychedelic, but never addicted to doom. Rather the opposite! The fifth SUBTERFUGE album is their felt most positive work - and it is the musical coming together of six people who know they will have each other forever. Band history: Subterfuge have been in existence since 1991, making them one of the few first-generation indie pop bands still active in Germany.

Between 1993 and 2005 four studio albums were released in the DACH area, I Do Birds furthermore in Japan. The video single Silly Girl made it to rotation on VIVA2. Until 2007 the band played 250 concerts, both as part of their own headlining tours and as support for bigger acts, as well as several festivals (Bizarre Festival, Immergut etc). For the tenth record anniversary in 2003 the compilation Fabulous Friends was released, on which 28(!) friendly bands (Slut, Miles, Readymade, Virginia Jetzt!, Nova International, Pale, Liquido, Paula and many more) each covered one song of the debut Fabulous.

In 2005, the album "The Legendary Eifel Tapes", produced by Olaf O.P.A.L and mixed by Mario Thaler at Weilheim's Uphon Studio, was released before the band took an indefinite break in 2007. After the rarities collection "Etc." (ALBUM DIGITAL) in 2020 and some concerts in 2020/21 Daniel Klingen (Drums), Kai Blankenberg (Bass), Lars Schmidt (Vocals, Guitar), Lorenz Naumann (Keys, Guitar, Bass), Thomas Baumhoff (Vocals, Guitar) and Tom Blankenberg (Keys) have now finished DOTS.in perfect shape.
