Crafted in a period of emotional and artistic transition, Delusions (originally written as a Christmas present for her parents) began as a deeply personal project--an intimate gift of music that quickly grew into something much more expansive. Inspired by instrumental albums like Surfing with the Alien by Joe Satriani and Universal Language by Angel Vivaldi, Sophie Lloyd set out to create her own voice in the world of instrumental rock, blending technical proficiency with emotional storytelling.
What started in her bedroom became a bold artistic statement--fusing soaring guitar melodies, cinematic production, and a raw sense of vulnerability. With Delusions Deluxe, the project returns remastered, visually reimagined--but still an ode to the original concept. The updated cover art honors the spirit of Delusions while giving it a bold, contemporary look that reflects Sophie's artistic evolution., and expanded with the 2019 single "Bulletproof Revolver," offering a deeper look into the early creative spark that helped launch Sophie's solo career.
