Description
Silver Convention are synonymous with the German Disco scene of the second half of the 1970s, breaking out from the Munich dance movement to become the biggest international act of this era exported by the land of Mercedes and Porsche.
Established through a studio session by Michael Kunze in which he involved Silvester Levay, they went on to produce and write a string of hits which made it necessary to create the group and so Silver Convention were born.
Hits such as "Save Me", "Fly, Robin Fly", "Get Up And Boogie", "No No Joe" and "Everybody's Talking About Love" established the act globally with several top 10 hits in each territory.
In recent years many of these tracks have been sampled by serious dance acts, giving the now defunct group a strange kind of chic cult status. This 2CD is a unique collection featuring, as well as the hits, also the vast majority of the songs recorded by the group.
