Description
A Japanese world of stories told by an accordion and a bass (with backup by drums, electric guitar and synthesizer programming).
Sato Shirô (accordion) and Takashi Enomoto (bass) created their own unmistakable style by mixing traditional elements with an exciting rock spirit and a handful of exquisite grooves.
The 'World of Planetarium' has become a soundscape of the colourful, dynamic interplay of bass intertwined with accordion melodies leading through songs full of stirring stories. The recurring theme in most songs is love. Not sweet love, however.
The instruments reveal their own passionate understanding of love while fighting and bantering without caressing and kissing each other. Planetarium hopes that their music can spark emotions in their listeners wherever and whenever, inspiring them to picture their own melodic tales.
Lately, the accordion has found its own lively way into the Japanese pop-music scene and with this "liveliness" in tow, Planetarium are now looking towards Europe, where the accordion has its true origin.
