Orfeo 5 play what might best be described as improvised narrative landscape music, their pieces evolving over time to create a sense of place and journey. Their influences include Alex Cline, Jon Hassell, Evan Parker and Nils Petter Molvær, among others, and out of these they create a powerful blend of jazz, improv, folk, dub, sound art & electronica.
