The album features a powerhouse ensemble in the form of Godwin Louis on alto and soprano saxophone, Jeremy Correnon piano, Savannah Harrison drums, and was produced by vibraphonist Joel Ross.
'Yom' represents a new evolution for his group and for Bareket as a leader/composer. Energetic, focused, and wide-ranging in its emotional content, yet rigorous and patient in its delivery, the music on the record is a response to the many collective and personal reckonings of navigating the fast-moving, post-covid world.
