  • Description

Whiskey Preachin Records is proud to present Ole Whiskey Revival, the real-deal Southern rock band we've all been waiting for. OWR hail form Shreveport, Louisiana, home of the Louisiana Hayride back in the fifties and now home to this band of bourbon-soaked rabble rousers. Formed five years ago by four old school friends, Alex Troegel (lead guitar and lead vocals), Trent Daugherty (guitar and vocals), Steve Hensley (bass) and Ryan Alexander (drums and percussion), this is the band's first album release, but you wouldn't think so to listen to it. Their command of the material and their confident swagger suggest otherwise.

Listening to OWR's masterful combination of good time Southern rock and seventies outlaw country, it's possible to think you're hearing a long-lost classic for the first time. But you'd be wrong, at least in the long-lost part. You won't be wrong when you find yourself listening to their album on repeat. If, like us, you like to hear the aural equivalent of sour mash when you drop the needle on a record, you're going to love Ole Whiskey Revival. Pour yourself a few fingers of your best brown liquor and turn up the stereo, baby. You're in for a real treat.
