Norman Thatcher is one of the great icons in the post Ken Colyer era - both playing in and leading The Ken Colyer Trust New Orleans Jazz Band for many years and also leading his own band Norman Thatcher's Ragtime Band.
Recorded at the well-known London venue for jazz - The Bull At Barnes - this CD has an excellent line-up and has not been available to the general public via AMAZON or the shops previously. This CD will appeal to ragtime lovers and jazz aficionados alike and is one not to be missed.
A lot in the jazz press currently as John Wurr (playing on this album) has just sadly died.
