Description
Step into the spotlight with the King of Pop! This exciting live radio broadcast from NHK Radio in Japan in 1987 from the Yokohama Stadium captures Michael Jackson during the phenomenal BAD era, when the biggest star on the planet was redefining pop music, electrifying audiences and turning every performance into a global event.
Fresh from the record-breaking success of Thriller and riding high on the momentum of BAD, Jackson was at the peak of his extraordinary powers. Armed with his unmistakable voice, razor-sharp choreography and magnetic stage presence, he delivered the kind of high-voltage entertainment that made him a phenomenon unlike any other.
From infectious pop hooks and irresistible rhythms to explosive dance-floor anthems and moments of pure vocal brilliance, this is Michael Jackson in full superstar mode. The Japanese setting adds another fascinating chapter to the story of an artist whose influence transcended borders, languages and generations.
