Description
First released in 2011, and long unavailable on vinyl, Reggae veteran Little Roy's surprising but sure-footed tribute to the songs of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana returns to plastic in a new limited-edition pressing. 750 copies worldwide, pressed on red, green and yellow heavyweight vinyl, newly remastered by Guy Davie (who cut the original master in 2011) at Electric Mastering in London.
NME - **** - No tedious intentions, no major fuck-ups, just subtle versions of classic songs that actually end up taking them somewhere new.
The Guardian - the quality and richness of the arrangements mean that even the biggest snob will crack a wry smile on hearing, say, Lithium retooled as sunlit ska.
DIY mag **** - This is an album that can be enjoyed equally by both reggae enthusiasts and die hard rock fans.
Stereoboard - This is an album that can be enjoyed equally by both reggae enthusiasts and die hard rock fans.
