Description
First released by Burning Sounds in 1978, this Alton Ellis-produced vinyl collection quickly earned its place as an essential purchase for discerning lovers rock fans. Packed with evocative vocal cuts from Ellis, veteran Gene Rondo, Tony Saxton and the soon-to-be-celebrated Janet Kay, the set captures the romantic reggae sound that lit up the UK reggae charts at the close of the decade.
Adding even more value, the album is complemented by three bonus tracks featuring Ellis's younger sister, Hortense, including her captivating reggae-chartbusting version of Kim Carnes's '(Love Come From) Unexpected Places'.
Now pressed on striking red vinyl, this romantic reggae classic is ready to charm collectors, long time fans and new listeners alike -- the perfect soundtrack for lovers all year round.
