Description
The debut album (2001) by the legendary Leftover Crack is finally available again as a coloured vinyl edition on SBAM Records after being out of print for many years. The band Leftover Crack, which emerged from Choking Victim in the late 1990s, is known for its uncompromising fusion of crust punk, hardcore, ska, and politically charged lyrics. Led by frontman Scott "Stza" Sturgeon, the group takes a clear stance against capitalism, racism, religion, and state power, using their music as a radical voice within the punk scene. In 2001, their first studio album Mediocre Generica was released on Hellcat Records. Musically, the record is highly diverse, ranging from aggressive hardcore and dark crust sections to danceable ska passages and anthemic choruses. Mediocre Generica is now regarded as one of Leftover Crack's most important albums: uncompromising, politically radical, and musically varied - a manifesto against war, oppression, and state control.
