Hank Jones Hank Jones died in May 2010, 91 years old. He was the oldest of the talented Jones Brothers , Elvin Jones and Thad Jones. This CD is a reissue recorded March 19, 1991 in Denmark. Hank Jones visited Denmark a number of times with a trio, solo or as part of J.A.T.P. and with Ella Fitzgerald. On this CD Hank Jones plays with Danish bass player Mads Vinding and drummer Al Foster. The recording was part of the Danish Jazzpar project: to celebrate Jazzpar Award winners.
