The music of Gunner & Smith has always been a collection of fiery elements, blending searing guitars, brawny rhythms and distinct folk-family vocals to produce tightly-knit rock anthems. Anchored by the solid songwriting of frontman Geoff Smith, Gunner & Smith has an ever-expanding sound that combines indie rock, alt-country and sizzling psych-Americana. After a decade of touring Canada and internationally including stops in the USA, Korea, Germany, and the UK, Gunner & Smith is set to release its 3rd full length album Hear You In My Head. Having always recorded close to home in Saskatchewan this album was created in a much different way from Gunner & Smith's past records. In August 2021 Smith flew South to work with producer Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Benjamin Booker) and a collection of talented session musicians at the Bombshelter Studio in East Nashville.
