Growing up surrounded by music in Colorado, Leslie cut her teeth with American folk sounds and immersed herself in the devoted communities that chase them. Over more than a decade playing everything from bluegrass to folk to jazz, she's absorbed a huge swath of American music and made it her own. Leslie is also well known as a side musician who records and performs with bands in New Orleans and beyond, including The Sam Doores Band, Esther Rose, Ric Robertson, Dave Hammer and her family band, The Bad Bad Leslies.
